July Talk unleashes at the Commodore Ballroom: photos

Photography by Craig Fleisch

July Talk played one night only at the Commodore Ballroom. Hailing from Toronto, Canada this Canadian gritty Rock band exudes confidence and embodies energy. If you've never seen them perform before, make sure to catch them live as they put on one of the most energetic, entertaining, non-stop rock shows I've ever seen.

With five members in the band, singers Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay are at the helm and are absolutely intoxicating to watch as they play off each others energy. Dreimanis has the most unexpected voice, filled with gritty texture and rawness, unlike Fay whose silky voice and sexy demeanor creates the perfect contrast to the singing duo. It's the perfect combination, like sandpaper and silk or beauty and the beast.
