Great stuff to do in Vancouver this week

Laugh the winter away with some hot topics, such as at the Evening of Debauchery with The HivePhoto by The Hive

Winter in Vancouver is good for one thing at least: this weekend’s Winterruption festival--with lots of wine, food and other artistic events to check out. If food is your art, then you've probably been to the Food Talks at the Dockside restaurant last week with our bee Kelly; this week, she’ll be discovering Crazy8s short films (and we're sure the food provided will not go unnoticed). As well, there are also more movies at the Free Oscar Party at the RIO - don’t forget your haute couture.

Still not getting over the cold? How about coming to the 18+ Made to Pleasure event where you can learn about the history of sexual satisfaction and the construction of social pleasure. Along those lines, you can get a few more ideas at the Evening of Debauchery with The Hive with some of the most sexual, vulgar and raunchy R-rated jokes. Somewhat related is the Post-Valentine’s day Break up show.

WINTERRUPTION Festival (Miraj’s pick)
Feb 22 - 24 | Granville Island | varies

Like a great aged French wine, one of the best Winter festivals in Vancouver just gets better every year! Parlez-Vous Français? You won’t need to speak the language to enjoy Vive Vendredi though.  Savour French food and wine tastings, Juste Pour Rire stand-up comedy, bilingual artists and performers, and much more all weekend long.
