Don't miss Vancouver's Fashion Night Out this Thursday

Well, we're just going to say it. September is the new August. We thought the hot summer months held some of the best events, but now we're not so sure. By the looks of this week's events, September is shaping up to be jam packed full of amazing events to keep that summer vibe going. We're all for it!

Top Picks

Anjali & The Incredible Kid at Bhangra Nights (Ajay's Pick)
Sept 7 | Post Modern | $15

DJ Anjali and the Incredible Kid have played a transformative role in the Portland, Oregon club scene for over a decade, presiding over two of Portland’s longest-running and most successful dance parties, as well as hosting a cult radio show on KBOO community radio. They are most known for incinerating dance floors with the South Asian sounds of Bhangra and Bollywood, but the duo scours the globe for any hard-hitting music that combines local musical traditions with window-rattling production. If you like dancing, definitely worth checking out!

Sept 8 | 8pm | Sideshow Studios | $15/18

Enter the fantastical land of Faerieworld as you spend a night partying with faeries and goblins, imps and trolls and dwarves and pixies. Armed with some sexy wings, pointy ears and a bag full of pixie dust you'll be ready to frolic with other magical creatures as you dance to eclectic music and are entertained by mystifying performances.
