Cause+Affect launches Brand Academy for entrepreneurs, non-profits, and marketing leaders
Cause+Affect -- the stellar brand consulting company behind PechaKucha Night in Vancouver as well as EPIC, The Sustainable Living Expo -- has launched a new program to help startups, small businesses and social ventures become more effective through managed branding.
The program will allow participants to engage the services of Cause+Affect, specifically the instruction of its two principals, Jane and Steven Cox (for more background, read The Vancouver Observer profile of Steven Cox).
“Vancouver is inherently an entrepreneurial city," Steven Cox, Creative Director at Cause+Affect, said. "The Brand Academy was our way of engaging this innovative sector and hopefully helping to improve its impact, both here in Vancouver and across the globe.”
Cause+Affect have been behind some of the biggest branding and re-branding success stories in Vancouver, such as FUSE at the Vancouver Art Gallery and Modo, the Car Co-op.
The Brand Academy offers courses including:
Brand Foundation, a five-week course where participants are guided through an intensive creative process to gain understanding and knowledge in creating a new brand or revamping an existing one.
Upon completion of the Brand Foundation course, graduates will understand what makes their brand unique and will have developed the strategy and tools to build a solid relationship with their target audience and grow their market.
The cost is $2,500 for the five week Brand Foundation course. Courses to begin soon. For more information, visit their website at
