Body found in Lynn Creek identified as Yoo Chung Choi

The Vancouver Police have been advised that the body found on the evening of July 13th in the waters of Lynn Creek has been identified to be that of Yoo Chung Choi, reported missing June 17th.

Ms. Choi’s family last had contact with her around 11 p.m. on June 17th. Police issued a report that day saying the family was   concerned she might be emotionally distressed and that she could try to harm herself.

Foul play is not suspected and out of respect for the family of Yoo Choi there will be no further updates, police said tonight.  A blog posted by friends of Ms. Choi's expresses the depth of the loss felt by those who knew her.
