Pecha Kucha Night Vancouver's All-star edition: vote for your favorite speakers
Anybody with even a passing interest in Vancouver culture will have attended one (or several) Pecha Kucha Night discussions -- an evening of fun, entertaining talks by Vancouver's most interesting people, accompanied by drinking and socializing.
- Pecha Kucha Night to light up Vancouver with creative discussions
- Steven Cox: the Cause and Affect behind Vancouver's Pecha Kucha Night
The next Pecha Kucha Night will be truly special – an All Stars edition of all the best speakers will take the stage on February 29. You can decide who you want to see speak again by casting your vote for your favorite Pecha Kucha Night speaker.
Which speaker and talk made an impression in your mind? Was it Andrew Morrison of Scout Magazine, and his humorous, colourful story about turning from a rebel skateboarder to revered food expert? Was it artist Ken Lum’s moving, unforgettable talk about identity and East Vancouver? Or was it Preet Bal and Poonam Sandhu’s passionate narrative about bringing recycling to the annual Vaisakhi parades in Vancouver and Surrey?
Vote online now: it only take a few seconds, and you only have until January 15 to make a difference.
For those who never attended a Pecha Kucha Night event, the next one will be the perfect one to start – it opens people’s eyes to the many amazing people and projects to be found in the city.
